Emma is our special guest star tonight standing in for Rocky who is out on holiday vacation. Emma is dressed in a stunning holiday ensemble. She's quite the Ingenue don't you think? (sans the drool).

Christmas Day with Emma is a standing custom here at C&C. She is a consumate hostess who provided us with delicious Food & Drink all day - (rawhide chews optional).

New Traditions

Christmas Eve Morning I was advised that the C&C household will be making the "Traditional Christmas Eve Stew".

Traditional?? Seeing as we are living in a new house, I inquired as to where/how this Tradition started..... I didn't recieve a clear cut answer.

Shutting my bazoo, I browned the beef while reflecting on Tradition. I suppose somewhere in between E-mail, Text Messages, Iphones, Bluetooth Devices, Facebook, etc... there are small, seemingly meaningless, events that get imprinted on the fabric of our lives. Great thing tho, is that these unassuming little occasions and customs ground us. They bring us back from the kinetic and frenetic.

So this Christmas, whether you are Near or Far... Tele-conferencing, Texting, Tweeting, picking up the phone...,etc, remember that it's all about the Family and Friends you're sharing these sneaky little Traditions with,.... New & Old.

Rocky is travelling to Pennsylvania this week to see his friend Crystal. It is very cold in Pennsylvania right now. This is how we stay warm...

Update!! Well, we got home just in time. The entire east coast is getting buried under snow. Back at the C&C mansion, the skies are blue and sunny, and we are wearing our shorts outside to go shopping. You have our sympathies.

It's Continuing to Look Alot Like Christmas

That's right. The new house is just too big for only one fake tree near the door. So we got a real one. Here it is newly arrived and naked.


And then after we dressed it.

As you know, this is definitely a cat house!

And that's just how we like it.
