The Plan II- Revenge of the Landscape

With Phase 1 "Ye Ole Cemente Ponde"complete,... we return to our intrepid homeowners for their next Catastophe... I mean Caper.

BEHOLD!!
This weed-ridden dust-bowl of a backyard will soon be transformed into a pristine Desert Oasis.

BTW, stay calm... those aren't body outlines on the ground.
Let's hope this stage goes a little more smooth than Phase 1.

The Plan- Penultimate Entry?

The Plan - 4/20/10

Great strides have been stridden with the pool. After much phiasco and phalderol, three torturous 10 hour days of nonstop tile cutting over the Easter weekend (yes, Sunday as well....), "Voila", THE DECK,... SHE IS DONE!

We were obliged to knock some heads together, resulting in a massive re-work with the re-laying of the entire deck. OBTW- adding an additional foot of width at no extra expense to C&C. Schweeet ...Cha-ching- $$.

Behold,... the new vitamin fortified pool deck (version 2.0).

Enjoy -e

The Plan- Re-bar (Oooooo!)

Update 3/24 -The Pool really took shape this Tuesday with the installation of the re-bar followed by the electrical today. I see less of a dirt hole and more of a Pool now. Shot-crete is next.

We also selected two citrus trees on Sunday,... a Sweet Grapefruit and a Tangelo. It's really coming together. (As usual you may click on the pics for a closer view).

The Plan- Plumbing (Woo Hoo!)

UpDate 3/20- This is what I came home to on Friday night. Kind of a "Hot Mess" eh? ... but progress nonetheless. This was about a days work.

There will certainly be more to follow. Don't touch that dial!

They Had a Plan (Update)

Update 3/17 - A 3 week of delay due to rain, rain, and yet more rain... but FINALLY the excavation for "Ye Olde Cemente Ponde" is complete. A Back-hoe, two dump trucks, and a Bobcat completed about 4 hours of work and voila!! ... a hole. (Click on the pictures for a closer look)

Electrical & Shotcrete are next.... stay tuned.
